Why We Exist

We exist to follow the command of Jesus when He said, "Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them all that I have commanded you." (Matthew 28:19-20)

We make disciples by proclaiming the Gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, to everyone we encounter. This good news that God loves us comes to us apart from anything we do and is something we cannot earn. Rather, it comes to us freely, by God's gracious favor towards us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

We are Christians who are a part of the Lutheran tradition. We believe that the Bible, the Old and New Testaments, are God's inspired word and are normative for our faith and life in this world.

Our beliefs are summed up best in the Book of Concord, also known as the Lutheran Confessions. We believe these confessions to be a correct exposition of the Bible.

We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod, a denomination of some 6,000 congregations and 2.1 million members in the United States.
